Thom's Powers

Thom is a Superhero in a world where this is totally the norm, the League of Heroes is recognised internationally and Thom is one of its probationary members.

Thom's power? Healing. Not only does Thom never get sick but he also can heal himself and perhaps more importantly, heal others. To do this, Thom is equipped with a second sight that enables him to see injuries and pain in people both physically and psychologically. Pain and illness of the physical variety is seen as a 'stain' on the character's aura and, if focused upon for enough time Thom can tell the exact reason for the pain. Psychological pain, similarly, is scene as a black smoke in your character's aura and if Thom focuses upon it, he can glean a sense of what it comes from for example heartbreak.

It would be great then if you could fill in this handy table below so that I can know what Thom might see from your character!

Thom's Permissions

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Definitely okay especially when you factor in the nature of the game. For a 'friendly'/'platonic' level of intimacy I'm open to it with all my CR once Thom and your character develop a degree of closeness. When it becomes Romantic Thom is canonically gay and I'd like most of that CR to be discussed prior to the physical affection.

PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Be my guest! Remember though, Thom is a Superhero and will take the negative connotations of physical violence personally and be more than willing to fight back. Also he's petty as hell. Oh and he can heal.

RELATIONSHIPS: Thom will move quite quickly into friendships, being eager to build that kind of thing between himself and any other characters in the game. Thom is known to fantasise quite early on in knowing someone and this will be indicated in his meta. He's a hopeless romantic and can fall fast in terms of his mentality with regards to another person.

MENTAL INFORMATION: Thom has no mental training or immunity to telepathy

MEDICAL INFORMATION: Thom is immune to sickness and has a healing factor that responds in the way of heat/light. He can heal all injuries to himself (canon examples include healing his own fractured neck, ruptured internal organs, torn arteries and severed tendons) and transmute that energy into his powers. He does however suffer from seizures as a result of his powers.
